Thanksgiving Thankfullness

Abigail's class celebrated Thanksgiving grandly by making placemats, feasting on every student's favorite food and making/wearing Indian headbands and pumpkin seed necklaces. I didn't carry over the headbands, necklaces, or cereal straw treats into our Thanksgiving meal, but did work with Abigail, my mother and my sister, Kelly Ann, to make placemats for everyone at our feast. I was so impressed with Abigail's handiwork that I wanted everyone else to have the same table decor.

We worked Wednesday night to create the construction paper turkeys. Each turkey feather was perzonlized with an  item the person is thankful for. The self-laminated construction paper designs didn't exactly contribute to the candles, silver charger plates and china dishes on Thursday, but it was a fun way to share what each of us are thankful for.

I have you know that I even cut out feathers for those thankful turkeys. Made for a good night of fun.
