We are foregoing our usual summer Saturday at the pool to be locked up here at the house. But, it's for a good cause -- I HOPE! I'm finally giving in to Cooper's potty desires. He's been asking to potty for months, and he's certainly old enough, but I just haven't had the time, desire or energy to deal with it.
We're stocked up on plenty of underwear adorned with cars, cowboy boots and horses.
And, both training potties are out of storage, cleaned and ready to go.
I'm so hoping that Cooper is just as successful with this as Abigail was. I'm not interested in Pull-ups or regular accidents. After I spent that long day of training with Abigail, she had just a handful of accidents. I'm praying we see the same successful results this time around!

I can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday.... ;) Hope it's a success though!
The day seems to have been a success. There were lots of accidents in the morning, but the afternoon was as close to dry as possible. We had 5 successful bathroom trips, and one trip that was in progress but became an accident. He'll still be in diapers for sleeping for the foreseeable future. He's not anywhere near ready for that. But, I'm otherwise done with diapers! Yea!
Now, if only I could stop calling them panties and remember that boys wear underwear.

yeah we are still working on getting Ally out of pullups at night. We cut her liquids off at 5pm and she'll still pee 2more times. We make her go at bedtime, then I get up at midnight to take her again. Getting old, but I don't know how else to go about this.
