As you can see, Abigail has grown into a beautiful young lady in the past year as a four-year-old. Those eyes... She's just gorgeous! Of course, I'm not biased. She's just that beautiful.
Even better, she's just as beautiful on the inside. She's tender and kind and loving and everything you could ever want in a sweet princess.

She was able to celebrate her birthday with friends at school for the first time. As you can see, it was a very exciting day. I recall that she didn't take that "crown" off her head until I made her remove it at bedtime.
She still loves to play outside. Fortunately, she has this awesome clubhouse and playscape in her very own park of a backyard.
When she's not playing outside, she is content to swim laps at the pool. In the past year, she has become an awesome swimmer. She's excelled at the her freestyle and backstroke and is currently working on the breaststroke. She goes to swimming lessons once a week at Nitro Swim in Cedar Park, and begs to be taken to swim for fun every day in between.
Abigail is always happy to help out in the kitchen, especially if there are sweets involved.
Her latest obsession is dancing. I think we may be headed towards ballet classes at some point in the next year because she's already worn out a pair of ballet shoes and leotard just by dancing around the house.
Most importantly, she has become playmates with her brother, Cooper. They love to wrestle, chase and love on each other.
And, for now, Cooper is happy to oblige Abigail by participating in her many tea parties. Although Daniel would be happier with Cooper digging in the dirt, it's a wonderful site to see them together!
They've come through a lot this year, with the big move to Texas and lots of changes. Abigail left her wonderful school in South Carolina and many friends at church to move to Texas. She's so happy to be able to see family more often and has settled nicely into making new friends in our neighborhood and at church. She recently had a friend call and invite her over to play for the first time ever. I'm sure this is just the beginning of Abigail having her own social calendar rather than tagging along with Mom and Dad. Truly, this is the first year I can say I've seen her become a young lady and I couldn't be more proud of what she is growing into.
